Hunapu comes from the highland valley in Antigua. The Antigua Valley of Guatemala is one of the most famous and beautiful coffee growing regions and consistently produces high quality coffees that are sought out and favored by coffee lovers all over the world. Hunapu brews a robust cup with the distinctive notes of rich cocoa and sweet pome fruit.

This Antigua coffee is processed at Beneficio Bella Vista’s mills in the valley, and named after a group of small, local producers that Beneficio Bella Vista dubbed Hunapu after the Kaqchickel Hunapú. Later named Volcán de Agua or “Volcano of Water” by the Spanish, Hunapú is the largest of three volcanos that surround the Antigua Valley.
