About the blend
Clockwork is one of our longest running and most popular espresso projects. The goal is to continually pair three coffees to complete a balanced espresso that can be pulled as an 1.5oz ristretto up to a full 2oz double.
The artwork (by Tim Borrego) is a rendering of a sundial with the word clockwork laid out aroud the outer circumference of the dial's 'tiles'. The internal blue green rendering is inspired by the famous astrolabe found in a ship wreck known as the antikythera mechanism. The artwork is based on a fascination with clockwork before the clock.
