The Pour Over Kit

Included in this pack is a cone style clear plastic pour over, a cloth pour over filter stitched with measurement marks, and a pack of paper filters.

The cone style filter is not to be confused with a melitta filter, this style has an open end. This adds greater depth which provides a different character in extraction. This relies on the user's skill but has a higher upside in flavor potential.

The cloth filter is special because of it's stitching. It has markings to give you water levels and dosage which makes it unique. Cloth is an exceptional method and fairly old school. While the filter requires a little more care, the results of the depth filtration that cloth provides are a cleaner cups without sediment, more aromatic oils, and no paper tastes. The trick to keeping it in good shape is to rinse it well with hot water after each brew and then place it still wet in a ziplock bag in your fridge. Under this usage, you will only need a little Cafiza or Joe Glo now and then to get it clean. Do not dry this and then re-wet constantly as this will cause degeneration, also avoid bleach for the same reason.
